Karting

Go Kart racing is an exciting and timeless activity. It’s hard not to love it. At R1 you will have a go-kart experience like none other. With their specially designed track, you will never want to stop driving. You can hit speeds up to 45 mph on their 1/3-mile-long racing track. With an age minimum of 6 years old, almost anyone can participate, and the younger folks (6-15) are put into “family races” which provide a safe and fun racing environment. There are two different kart sizes—a mini and an adult—so, whether you are a beginner or a pro, R1 can accommodate your party.

TimeMission

The TimeMission (formerly called TimeZone) is an innovative entertainment experience. R1 compares TimeMission to the classic adventure game show Legends of the Hidden Temple along with the modern escape room adventures. At R1 there are 25 adventures, or “portals,” as they call them. Each features its own theme and challenge. There are physical challenges as well as intellectual ones. Be prepared to pull out all your skills. Each area takes anywhere from one to five minutes to complete and you’ll more than likely need a team to make it through. The activities in the TimeMission are suitable for all ages, although youth ages 6-13 need an adult to tag along. It will make for a great family bonding experience!

Axe Bar

If your group is of a slightly older range (18+), you might want to try out axe throwing. The Axe Bar at R1 has 10 throwing lanes. For those that are ages 21 and over, there is access to a full bar. No experience? No worries. The trained employees at R1 are there to teach and guide you along the way. They provide lessons and go over complete safety precautions so that you and your group may have a safe and memorable experience. The throwing lanes were built according to strict safety protocols, so you can rest assured that your group will be in good hands. There are also different games that you can play to make it more fun. They also have the Burrito Bar and full bar access nearby. There’s no need to go hungry or parched. Who knows, you may discover a hidden talent for axe throwing!

Dart City

Dart City is not your average dart-throwing hub. Here, you get a more interactive throwing experience. For your competitive spirits, Dart City is for you. R1 uses professional-level dartboards, and for you aficionados, you can bring along your own darts. Scores are ranked, and you can even watch instant replays of your best throwing moments. This is not your everyday dart board at your local bar. The dart lanes are also interactive, making for a more immersive experience. These new-age dart boards let players create their own profiles and take selfies. This is dart-throwing of the future! As with the axe-throwing, there is also access to the Burrito Bowl and a full bar with a great selection of beer and specialty cocktails.

Arcade

Don’t forget about the Arcade! For those looking for a more traditional gaming experience, there’s fun for you, too! You’ll have your pick of traditional games such as skee ball, down-the-clown, video games, and connect-4. R1 has a game card that you can pre-load so that you can enjoy the arcade uninterrupted.

Regular hours are Monday through Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday noon to midnight, Saturday 9:00 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
