In Rhode Island, we embrace the joy of savoring delicious, plant-based foods, and there’s no better way to celebrate this lifestyle than at the RI Veg Fest. The festival promotes a fun and compassionate plant-based vegan lifestyle, welcoming everyone to enjoy the benefits and delights of plant-based living.
This festival, which falls on the first week of February each year, promises to be as vibrant and inclusive as ever.
About RI Veg Fest
RI Veg Fest is Rhode Island’s premier vegan festival, held annually in Providence. This event is the brainchild of a seasoned vegan who has dedicated over 25 years to promoting a vegan lifestyle. The festival’s mission is to create a welcoming space for all, whether you’re a lifelong vegan, a curious vegetarian, or simply someone exploring plant-based options. The festival is a hub of joy, compassion, and community, bringing together people to have fun, meet new friends, and discover the many benefits of a vegan lifestyle. The event is a fully integrated educational experience featuring a variety of restaurants, vegan artists, food producers, non-profits, and more. When choosing vendors, RI Veg Fest prioritizes businesses by vegans and restaurants that are either fully vegan or have shown a commendable commitment to the vegan community. At the festival, you’ll find an array of delightful full meals for purchase, snack samples, a fully stocked bar with local beers, and unique vegan mocktails and cocktails made with regional spirits. It’s a chance to indulge in delicious plant-based cuisine while supporting local businesses.

Past Vendors
One of the most exciting aspects of RI Veg Fest is the opportunity to explore the vast array of vendors. The 2024 festival lineup included over 85 local and national vegan and vegan-friendly brands. Among the stellar lineup of local vendors, there are favorites such as New Harvest Coffee, JA Patty, High Tide Mushroom Farm, Plant City, Basil & Bunny, and Pianta.
These businesses epitomize the creativity and flavor diversity of vegan cuisine, making the festival not only a feast for the palate but also a learning experience about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle.
